I am interested in your pins. What do you want for all or any? |

Hello:
I have what I believe to be one of the so-called “gold heart” pins from 1927, the first year of the Brier of which only 12 were made.
Interested persons may contact me here: jwburchell45@hotmail.com
Thanks,
John |

Hi to one and all that visit the Curling Zone.
I have 7 Macdonald Brier Curling Pins for those that collect or are interested in beginning a collection. These include the following: 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937 and 1940. Each is in pristine condition and include the original screw-back mount. There is not a nick on any of them as each has been handled with TLC for the past 80 years or so and look like the first day they were presented to the competitors.
The Macdonald Brier took place in Toronto from 1927 to 1939. Therefore, a majority of these pins represent participation in that era. The unique aspect of the 1940 Macdonald Brier Pin is that it was the first truly national championship as it was held in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Anyone that is a follower of the Brier or a historical curling buff would appreciate the significance of each pin. Every pin is individually crafted and unique and incorporates the "Heart" we have learned to respect.
Those interested in the above can email me at dgodward@gmail.com I can provide you with photos if you like.
I would appreciate serious offers with respect to the above.
Thanks,
Dave |
