Where to Find a Pharmacy in Astana?

I’m planning a trip to Astana soon and I was wondering how easy it is to find pharmacies there. Are they located in central areas or do I need to go out of my way? Also, do they carry common medications like ibuprofen or allergy pills, or should I bring my own? I’d appreciate any tips from those who have visited before!

If you’re looking for drug in Astana, they’re actually quite easy to find, especially in central areas and near major shopping centers. Most pharmacies carry common over-the-counter medications like ibuprofen, antihistamines, and even some international brands. For tourists, I recommend using the I-teka website https://i-teka.kz/astana/medicamentsalphabetically or their mobile app. It’s super helpful because it lists all the pharmacies in Astana, shows whether they have the medication you need in stock, and even provides directions. I used it last time I was there to find a specific brand of pain relief medication, and it saved me a ton of time. The app also offers info on nearby medical centers and doctors, which can be handy in case you need more than just a pharmacy.

Thanks for the detailed advice! I’ll definitely try out the I-teka app. It sounds like exactly what I need for my trip.
