The shuffle 2013/2013
Following the provincials it's time to begin the rumor mill. Who will remain together or part ways. Follwing their provincial win one would think Fowler has his team set, aside from him an Stoughton there may be some major changes.
What will Gunner do? Vic coming back?
Fowler, Lyburn, Daneault, Samagalski?
Stoughton, Mead, Carruthers, Gould?
D. Peters, V. Peters?

id actually like to see alex step back to skip and rejoin his junior team. I think that team has a ton of potential if they reunite. Alex will have that year of experience with william and that should help a bit.

Manitoba's got a great crop of juniors, that's for sure! I'd love to see Alex Forrest get a young team going here... maybe he can be Manitoba's version of the Brock Virtue team (the Virtue team of a few days ago, that is.)
I loved what Moskowy tried to put together out of Saskatchewan this year and it'd be great to see a young team get together.
Also watch out for Kyle Doering. What a great job they did at Nationals - and with several years left of Junior eligibility I think these guys have a great chance to build up some great competition experience before they've even finished high school!

Suzanne Birt
An interesting one to watch is PEI. With Robyn MacPhee leaving the Birt team, taking time off to focus on her upcoming wedding and to pursue other activities, it's open to who Suzanne will pull in. The question is will she try and pull someone like Tricia Affleck or Stefanie Clark, whom previously played with Suzanne, or will she grab an up and coming junior player? Will Shelly Bradley and Leslie MacDougall remain with Birt? It will be interesting to see what happens there!

Hot off the press (aka Team Birt's Facebook Page).. "Suzanne, Shelly, Leslie and Peter are pleased to welcome Sarah Fullerton to our team! Sarah, welcome aboard - we are excited to have you!"

Really? People take time off from curling, who's season ends in April? Anyways, I seem to recall one STOH where these upstarts from PEI went 10-1 and got bronze.

Vic Peters' team is split. Vic hung them up and Daley is forming another team. So there are a few more free agents.

New to Manitoba from BC. Curled through JR's as a top end, and recently in men's as top end as well. I am wanting to going back to being a front end player.

He's gonna be playing with Jim Cotter apparently, as Cotter's former third Kevin Folk is moving to Calgary. Kinda curious if Folk will end up playing with anyone out there.
