Team changes?
Are there any teams in your opinions/observations etc that you can see making changes?

Too early to predict before the provincials. Bad team vibes can always be overcome by winning your provincial.

As per their FB page, Team Cadorin is going their seperate ways.
"After a tough season and an even tougher decision the members of Team Cadorin will be going their separate ways heading into the 2020/2021 season. We wish each other the best of luck in all future curling endeavours.
We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the incredible support our sponsors. We can’t say it enough - THANK YOU! @cooperequipmentrentals @runbackcurling @goldlinecurling @dinobuffon @klosconcepts @stevedog_24
Lastly, huge thank you to Colin Sinclair - our Coach. Thank you all your knowledge, pep talks, truck rides and for always being in our corner as our biggest fan."

Team Watling
The Winnipeg Free Press reports the following: "Team Watling third Christine MacKay and second Taylor Maida plan to step back from competitive play next season to focus on their education."

I noticed yesterday that Katlyn and Jen seemed to be at odds with one another. There was no laughing or talking and Jen seemed quite short with Kaitlyn a few times. Just wondering what might be cookin. Maybe nothing but it was very noticeable, to me anyway. I would guess that curling with Jenn is very demanding.

I noticed that too, thought may be it was the nerves of being in such a high stakes event.

SHOULDA ... COULDA ... WOULDA ...
Shoulda Never considered joining Jones' team.
Coulda assembled her own team in 2010 including Cathy "O" as her Third.
Woulda achieved so much more in personal satisfaction; hasn't been a happy camper for many years. Time to move on.

I would and I wouldnt be surprised to see Kaitlyn leave jen at the end of the season
Remember the olympics are in 2 years, the trials are next year. If Kaitlyn formed her own team now shed have to have an e exceptional season next year just to make the pre-trials. That's a big risk.
It's likely she sticks with jen through the trials next season. Unless they win them and even if they do kaitlyn probably leaves after that.

At last, KL is finally overcalling the sweeping. She has usually been right 90 % of the time and JJ wrong just as often and then we here SORRY

Kaitlyn has her team all set...she’ll put up with Jones until the end of Curling season 21/22...then goodbye.

Always fun to speculate. I agree with earlier poster that probably no major team changes until after the Olympic cycle. Curious what the buy out clause would be if someone quits one of the top teams

international teams are harder to predict, they tend to stay together longer
i dont know that any of the top teams will make changes but i could see some of the other teams
pfister i think will want to change things. his new team has not done well at all
maybe we'll see feltscher and or schori make changes as well
could maybe see the young german muskatewitz rink change. depending on whether or not totzek wants to skip his own team or continue to play 3rd
maybe wrana makes changes for sweden ?
have to wonder, again if scotland will scre with the lineups on the teams. they're notorious for doing it in the past and with the olympics close it could happen

Too bad. I think one more season would have been good.

Per FB:
Team Galusha

Our long time lead Shona has decided to take some time off from curling so that she can focus on her personal life which includes running a half marathon, doing some world travel and spending more time with friends and family!
We will definitely miss her wit and creative ways!
Jo-Ann, Sarah and Kerry haven’t made any future plans as of yet....so stay tuned!! 🥌

What a tool. Why in the blue blazes would Jones ever give up huge sponsorship and great players to make a change half way through the Olympic cycle?
You should read what you say before you hit enter. I'll quote the all time favourite bugs bunny....what an idiot....what a maroon.
Do you even listen to yourself before you post? Back to the basement.

Basically the Russ Howard model of extending curling dominance.
This premise assumes Kaitlyn and the other Jones' performers decide to part ways with the legendary St. Vital Hammer Lady.
PS. Didn't Russ Howard team with James Grattan when he realized he could no longer do damage in Ontario?
just go to TSN and watch her interview, save you a lot of typing and making assumptions.

everyone is entitled to an opinion or theory... It's actually an interesting idea. Might not happen for a year or two but I could certainly see that possibility in the future. It's fun thinking of the possibilities :- )

I thought Russ Howard played in New Brunswick because he moved there. Is he in Regina now?

No. He moved to NB to work and back then you had to live in province that you play for, no import or birth province rule. He was still a great curler and would've won with Glenn had he stayed.

There was an article floating around that stated Team JJ is staying together.
Per FB page from Team Crawford, Jennifer Armstrong is leaving the team as she is moving to another province.

Team Crawford is sad to be losing our friend and teammate Jennifer Armstrong next season as she is leaving the province.
We will be discussing options over the next little while and hope to have further updates for the 2020-2021 season soonest!
We wish to thank our dearest sponsors whom we are so grateful for their financial support to our team to have helped us so far in the last 2 seasons.
Also, thank you to our friends and families and all our fans who’ve been so supportive - we love it and have enjoyed having you all a part of our success!
