KK needs to take Colton and have a one on one talk with him. Keep Bennie out of any conversation. Colton is too wound up and is costing the team too many points.

I thought Colton was making some pretty good shots. KK did speak with him but it must be hard for this kid to remain calm when so much is on the line for him. I do agree, however, keep benny out of any conversations. The last thing Colton needs is another big brother. The look on his face sometimes makes me think of "OMG, I'm here at the worlds. I've arrived. This is surreal" All the best today Team Koe.

Two weeks back we had a women's final between 2 hall of famers, hope the KK express vs Edin machine is just as entertaining.
No extra end though, want to see that Egyptian tomb opening.

Slow walking does seem a very beneficial aspect to coaching. Good post.

Has anyone else noticed that must be the 6-7th time that Koe TELLS the sweepers, don't switch sides unless you're TOLD? Thick? Smarter than your skip? Deaf? Pay attention man. (Subliminal Hebert)

Start the clock asap after time out is called, might see the coaches sprint down the sheet. Why have a 60 second time out with the 2 minute saunter?

These two teams are so evenly matched, it's going to come down to a minor mistake or miss to decide the winner.
The fans are getting their money's worth in Lethbridge tonight.

Guess he didn’t have his one on one with them before the game.

A broken rock. That's new for a world championship final game.
The delay to fix the rock didn't seem to affect Edin.

Crapola rock handle may have just cost Canada a world championship.

Or, the whole end and Kevin not making the final draw. They were in trouble long before a broken rock.

Yeah, except he's been making those draws in his sleep all week.

They have a term for this in football. Freezing out the kicker.
But who did the freezing out?

He was having trouble at the beginning of the week with his draws, and when they showed the stats at the 5th end break, he had thrown 4 draws and was only in the 80's. Final for draws 68%.
His total for the week on draws - 77%.
http://wmcc2019.worldcurling.org/data/CUR_WMCC2019P/Men's_Teams/C84B~Cumulative_Player_Statistics_CAN.pdf?v=15
the link to the stats does not work properly.

Nothing to be ashamed of for getting Silver. The boys have made some incredible shots during this tourney and have had quite a remarkable year considering its their first together.

Have to agree with you on this one... not sure why you would downgrade the second best team in the world... hey, they played great and deserve a nice silver... a lot better than third, fourth or thirteenth.
Wow, the crowds all week were super and the noise made the games nice to watch. I'm sure all the teams enjoyed their time in Lethbridge... I can honestly say I watched some of the best curling and have to admit the game has gone to another level.

Not exactly. Koe made 68% of inturn draws this week.
Sweepers seemed to jump it right away, although not like it was terribly light, and then backed off for a little bit at mid-ice. That may have been the difference between scoring 1 and giving up 2.

No doubt. But give him credit -- he is not afraid to post idiotic statements. I really like how he cannot stand listening to Edin, though I am sure he has no idea what Edin is saying. We only know for sure that he is NOT saying "that fresca is one bright guy."

It was a great championship -- terrific curling by great teams. Now if curling could only figure out how to make extra ends exciting....
