I'm a fan as well, but I'm not worried.
Curling is like any other sport, you can't win em' all. Even the best players/teams have off games/days/events. Sometimes at these events teams just have a bad outing. Other times they just get into a bit of a slump that lasts for awhile. Again, it happens.
With Team Carey, my guess is it's probably just exhaustion/burnout. It's been a very long, grueling season. I think by the end of Worlds they were mentally and physically drained.
Considering how their year started though, and the fact that this is their first year together, I think they'll be alright. The off season is coming up soon, and then next year they don't have provincials to worry about.
