Good twitter play by play. Bender writes well.

#Scotties Kristy McDonald makes great triple takeout to get Carey out of trouble, and celebrates with emphatic high 5.

McEwan is also posting photos with his tweets. Pretty good coverage! Thanks Mike.

YES JONES!! Talk about clutch.
Last 4 shots by the skippers sounded like they were amazing, shame it wasn't on TV. Lack of coverage for this event is terrible.
Congrats to Team Carey as well, their time will come soon enough!

Great, my worst fear of this week came true. I put Jones as the clear favorite to win the Scotties now since her lone threats will be from Holland and if Lawton wins Saskatchewan, her as well with the way the field is shaping up.

What a spectacular final - by all accounts both skips made 2 perfect shots in the last end, and it just so happened that Jenn had the hammer and a shot for the win this time. Kaitlyn Lawes picks up her first provincial women's title.
Gotta feel for Chelsea Carey. Tough way to end a great tournament and you've got to think they could have caused some major damage at the National Scotties considering the way they handled the Canada Cup field earlier this season! Two heartbreaking provincial final losses in a row - and 4th for 3rd Kristy Jenion/MacDonald.
As an unapologetic JJ fan, I'm delighted. Another clutch performance from one of the game's top skips. Certainly not a "washed up has-been" as she's been called recently on this board!
Look forward to watching them in the national Scotties - you've gotta like this team's chances if they can grab a playoff spot!

And thanks to Eddies little boy (Mike McEwen) for providing rivetting tweets in the final. A crying shame for Curl Manitoba and its exec. director Shane Ray for no TV coverage of any kind in the biggest curling province of them all. Shame on you Mr. Ray, shame on you and your well-fed lackies, including MCA president Resby Coutts. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Totally, totally ashamed!!!
I bet Curl Manitoba execs had suites in P-La-P though.

Mike McEwen deserves huge kudos for tweeting so well during that final as well as the other games. Good on him.
Feel sorry for Carey and her team, but glad to see Jones in Red Deer.
Crying shame that game wasn't televised. Anybody know what the rationale was for that decision?
