Question! Anyone out there know where one can find updated standings! It is not yet an issue (after one game) but soon could be, unless one writes down the results of each round! Must be somewhere but I can't find it! Thanks.

All I can give you is 2011 Ontario Scotties, went 4-5 Round Robin, only big team defeated was McCarville 9-2
2010 1-8 Round Robin, only win against Julie Hastings 8-7
2006 0-9 in Round Robin.

HUGE win for sherry middaugh over jen hanna this afternoon
it doesnt really seem like sherry is curling that well here with a blow out loss to horgan and unexpected loss to dahl and then a very slow start against hanna going down 4-0 early on.
standings after 4:
rachel homan 4-0
cathy auld 3-1
krista mccarville 3-1
tracy horgan 3-1
sherry middaugh 2-2
kathy brown 2-2
jen hanna 2-2
marlo dahl 1-3
alison nimik 0-4
laura pickering 0-4
this marlo dahl team seems like a very solid team and they have alot of close games with top teams but still usually end up losing in the end.

Homan is easily the most technically superior and solid thru the entire lineup team in the thing. McCarville can match up at skip but I'm afraid her lineup is shrinking violet compared to Homan's Thumpers.
Still the last three standing should be Homan (talent), McCarville (reputation and skip's shot-making skills) and Middaugh (experience & grit). Hopefully, a fresh new face emerges to give the Top 3 a bit of a scare!
i know its disappointing but sherry was already back against the wall in a way at 1-2, she couldnt afford to go 1-3 with games against krista and rachel still to come so you knew that even down 4-0 she'd be a hard one to put away

Krista McCarville thumps Brown 10 3 and Tracey Horgan giving Homan a run for her money. Going to be an interesting finish to the week.

Going to be tough for Jen, facing Brown and Dahl (same record), then, Nimik and Homan.

jen hanna from 2-0 now 2-3. she will really have to dig in now because 4 losses is more than likely done.
nice to see sherry rebound with a double win day

Rachel's biggest concern in this tournament is sherry middaugh. She's got the best H2H against rahcel, even if it is only a 3 game record.
rachel is riding high right now but sherry, who sits at 2 losses will know that she really probably can only afford one more loss with the way rachel, krista and cathy are going.
it makes this afternoon's match extremely interesting. if rachel wins she probably eliminates..or goes along way toward taking out her toughest challenge but if sherry wins she knocks rachel down a bit and keeps herself close to the front runners.
question now is are sherry and her team curling well enough now to knock off team homan? they had a good couple of wins yesterday but against teams that are below them.

Dalh Rocking in Kenora!
Team DAHL could easily be 4-1 right now based on 2 last rock losses to Homan and McCarville! As the top round robin teams play eachother now, Many teams will fall back and join those at 2-3 or even 4 losses.
The Ontario Scotties stars to get VERY Interesting now...
GO TEAM DALH GO! Red Deer is calling!!!
What a awesome week of curling ahead! There will be a new Champ in Ontario when this is all said and done!
DALHIES ROCK!

I appreciate and love your enthusiasm and support for team dahl.
however i think that if anyone wants to win ontario they are going to have to go through 2 of mcarville, homand d=and middaugh to get there..possibly all 3 and thats a huge ask.
they can get pasy 1 but im not sure team dahl could yet take out 2 of them or all 3 to win the whole thing.

Must be nice to have such high hopes, living with your head in the clouds! Dahl isn't going to win this, not strong enough! If they do something would be terribly wrong in Kenora ,not to mention they would be lucky to finish beyond 1-10 in Red Deer.

My views are complied through research, facts and observations, not delusions and overshadowing love for a specific team.

i think though that team dahl has shown they can compete with these teams. Its just a matter of actually being able to win . I cant blame exposure because they have been curling in the ontario play downs for a number of years and never been close to a playoff(as far as im aware) however it does seem like they are close.
whether or not they'll ever get that break though or will always be the p[ain in the ass to top teams i dont know but thney obviously do have talent.

And I don't dispute that at all. Good on them for being in these games. However Red Deer, arena setting, etc etc is totally different experience. When you face off against stronger teams, Olympians, World Champions etc.. it's a lot tougher when you don't play them regularly in tour. Look at some of the teams that come from the East Coast. They can go undefeated in their provincials, yet go to the nations and only win 2 game.
Dahl may have talent, and they could pull off upsets, but the chances of getting to the Scotties and getting to the playoffs is slim.

I don't know about that. O'Rourke and Smith-Dacey seemed to do OK from the east.

There are exceptions.. O'Rourke and Affleck had lots of Scotties experience, Carmody and Ramsay were Provincial Junior Champs.
Same with Smith-Dacey's team, granted Smith-Dacey was also playing with Colleen Jones at the beginning of last season, and they were playing in the tour. Big hats off went to Danielle Parsons for falling into her role as Vice and fitting in so with Smith-Dacey's team.
