Since Jennifer Jones' team isn't going to Virden, does her spot get awarded this weekend as an additional berth in one of the regions?

good question. JJ's berth in this year's provincials was given to her as being last year's champion. Following that, wouldn't the spot go to the runner-up? If the runner-up is in already, just go down the list to second runner-up. etc etc.

or.... have a last chance spiel open to all teams not qualified in the provincials for JJ's spot in the xmas week-end?
