Scotland Women's Championships

I've been watching this the last few days and I still wonder how the women's curling in Scotland has come to this.

There are only 4 women's teams in all of Scotland, vying for the national championship. 3 look like juniors. And so far the juniors are winning.

What has happened to Scottish curling that they only have ONE women's team left? Is it 10 years of paying and supporting one team to the behest of any other? Did all the other competitive teams just say screw it? Did the amalgamation of the junior teams into the Muirhead team discourage all the other teams from even trying? Muirhead may still win but what does it say about the country that founded curling that they only have one team left?

It does not appear to be a women's playoff. Does this mean Sophie wins?
