I keep saying that one day, I'm going to Skip an actual game from behind the glass, because the game seems so simple and easy from there.
The primary reason that curling seems so much easier 'behind the glass' is because there is no pressure. Pressure does interesting things to the thought process. If we're not playing in the game, there is no pressure and no consequences to missed shots - so we can think more clearly.
