elena stern wins the women's tier 2 event. this team is one with huge potential. they are having a really good year and are ones to look out for. gonna be a short time before we see them wearing swiss colors..maybe even the next worlds

And it was great to see the Muyres team win the Tier 2 for the men. Hope they can keep climbing in the rankings so that they get in more Slams besides the one in January!

I think it might be a good idea to encourage our tier 2 teams to play some of the international competitions (Stockholm Cup, German Masters etc...) to gain some international experience. I've noticed not too many Canadian entries this year.

We welcome our international curlers with open arms to our cashspiels, I am sure they would do the same for Canadian Curlers.

I think money is a big reason most Canadian teams wouldn't consider going. Even if prize money was guaranteed hardly covers expenses.

yeah..i mean, it wasn't that long ago that you would usually see a canadian team or 2 (sometimes up to 4) in an event over seas . now it's pretty rare
