https://www.teamusa.org/USA-Curling...rants-announced

Glad to see more women's teams this time around. Hopefully, this increase will continue.

Wow, 19 Men's teams. Some names from the past, some names I don't know and a couple of glaring omissions.

Ten is a good number for the ladies side.

Where are Nationals this year?

Did I miss a big change?

Looking at the list of womens teams, I am now left to ask, did I miss a change where Cory and Sara have swapped spots on the team? The team is now listed as Team Anderson rather than Team Christensen

Good news to see just one HP staff discretionary pick for each event. Why they still get such a pick given the OM pick rules is... funny.

What travel and coaching support do 2017-18 HP teams get now given the Olympic Trial results, and the current/past(?) teams and curlers mid-season changes? Checked the USCA news and HP pages to try to find out with no luck.

I guess Team Roth will still have the Canadian coach hired special for them in September?

On Team Christensen:

Has a fifth for Team Roth been named? I would think Christensen would be a contender along with her team and Sinclair.

They would need a fifth to keep playing during that time.

It's Christensen and Polo.

It is my understanding that all HP funding is now being directed towards the two Olympic teams, and the other HP squads are left to fend for themselves for the rest of the season.

Cory Christensen is likely to be spending her time training/traveling with team Roth since she is their fifth for Pyeongchang. I believe she is also listed as the fifth for team Sarah Anderson.
