Resby Coutts (thecurler.com) has made a list of 10 top teams that are trying to get to the Safeway Select. His teams to watch in the upcoming MCA bonspiel are as follows:

Ryan Hyde
Dave Elias
Geoff Trimble
Kelly Marnoch
Dean Dunstone
Daniel Birchard

Some other teams to watch might be Randy Neufeld, who always does well in this (although I don't think he's curled competitively this season), Bob Sigurdson, another team that does well in this, and Richard Muntain.

If you need a good darkhorse to round out your pool, consider Chris Drieger out of Altona. I don't know what he has for a front end, but I used to play against him when I had knees and the man can flat out throw.
