I figured I should get the info out for our spiel as teams will soon be making a schedule for the season.

Our spiel will again be running on the second weekend in October (Oct 11-14). This year Thanksgiving is a week later so we will be able to run the entire spiel without people having to take time off work! Will start Friday night and end holiday Monday.

Our curling stones have just come back from Canada Curling Stone in Ontario with completely redone strikebands and running surfaces! We will be papering them before the spiel starts to make sure we will have lots of curl, so you can expect to have lively rings with great swing!

We will be going with a triple knockout format on the men's side. There will be MCT points available and if we get a 16 team field there will also be CTRS points available.

Entry will be $500 per team with a $8,000 purse for 16 teams or a $6,000 purse if there are only 12 teams. We will qualify half of the field. Women's format will most likely be a round-robin.

So come out to Carberry for an early spiel with great ice, great rocks and great hospitality! We will be taking a maximum of 16 men's teams. You can contact me for more information or to enter your team.
