It's too bad that there was not coverage of the Scotties in Portage la Prairie. Especially the playoff round. There was some great shots that were not seen by the curling community.

My question is, who is it that would have to organize this event to be televised. The MCA, the host committee, a combination of both?

I don't think that it would be very hard or hope it wouldn't to get the necessary sponsorship to stage this event for a television audience. There are lots of seniors who love curling that are not able to get down to the rink in person for a variety of reasons.

With that said, will there be any television coverage of the select in Dauphin? Can someone from the MCA or Host committee comment?

Agree, it was really too bad that there was no TV coverage. Many other provinces webcast their events and there was a lot of interest. I'm surprised that with all the complaints about the lack of coverage that there has not being a response from CurlManitoba or a comment about it on "The Curler".
