Too bad that the writer didn't do some more fact checking. Let's start with Mark Tewksbury and a number of figure skaters long before John ( oh that's right I can hear you, Are they sports? ) Also there was a SK curler at the Brier who was gay. Let's get the facts straight sportsnet.

Well put Decade, in fact there was much exclamation in the media when Tewksbury said he was gay...But great article and promotes curling always a good thing.

Tewksbury did not come out until after he retired from competitive swimming. There are several other athletes who have also done the same. This article is about someone currently playing the game.
