Glenn Beck Sayonara
He is leaving Fox News when his contract expires at the end of 2011. (Moving on to greener pastures he says. Although the fact that his numbers have dropped from 3,000,000 to a still healthy 2,000,000 a night may have something to do with it. But more than likely it is because sponsers are starting to leave in droves. Only so much racist conspiracy theory bull **** that even the big money guys will put up with. John Stewart is heartbroken, as Mr. Beck has provided lots of great material for The Daily Show.
On the other hand, I just realised I don't have a birth certificate. I guess I was born in KENYA. Oh, Mother AFFRIICA. I am comin' HOME! (Guess I will never be president. Aww shucks.)
Seriously for those of you who will miss Becks lies and fake tears, fear not. Although you will not be able to see the fake tears on TV, you will be able to IMAGINE them when you listen to his radio show. And speaking of fake tears, I hope this link comes through.

LOL, I knew Dino would comment on Glenn Beck.
It was twenty years ago when I first watched a late night show hosted by one Rush Limbaugh. Not knowing who he was or what he represented, I thought the show was a satirical look at right wing politics, when I realized the guy was serious the joke was on me. Still he makes me laugh.

I'm in all in favor of Free Speech. But have a hard time with the 'Hate Speech' that vomits from the mouth of Beck, Limbaugh, et. al.
Hopefully the declining numbers are a result to the smartening up of the American population realising that these guys are Nazi's in suits instead of brownshirts.

Good riddance indeed! Although there has been plenty of crazy of late from the likes of Trump and Bachmann to keep this kind of delusion alive and well in America!

White have been taking the back seat to minorities my entire life. College, employment and funding opportunities are just a few examples. Or do you...Mr. Guest...live in a different world than I...because unless I had a 4.0 and a 27 on my ACT I wasn’t attending a Big Ten university because of my race and sex.
Or when my wife was fired from a large corporation because they had recently fired a black female for fraud. They chose to fire a white equivalent because the female claimed racial discrimination. Or does this not happen in Canada?
And as you so revealed...I am from Chicago. I wish I could live in the sticks and have no contact with other cultures and live the dream...but I do not. I have to live next to people (a state supported black family) that last year received $20,000 from FEMA for water damage, whereas my application for the same damage was denied because my wife and I took the initiative to get jobs.
Or maybe the fact that fatherless black teens(i.e. 20-25 year olds) all over this country are going into white neighborhoods and beating/robbing white people because whites are easy prey. I’ll give you a hint...it has to do with the multiculturalism brainwashing that we all received growing up. Or should I ask how your Memorial Day weekend was? Hopefully you didn’t take your family to the beach...(if you dont understand this...read the news)

I’m not saying I agreed with all his views, but definitely spoke his mind and he was an integral part of the fight for our rights. Unfortunately, most people don’t understand that this country was built upon white European Christian values.

Your writing makes you out to be nothing more than a bigot.
I don't agree with quotas and hiring based on gender/race either. Whenever anyone's skin colour or gender enters the equation, somebody is being favored, and someone is being oppressed on racial grounds. The job should go to the best person for the job, and if that means the whole company is made up of white men, or black women, so be it as long as they were all the best candidates for their positions.
However, asserting that you could not have gotten into a big 10 university with slightly lower grades because of gender or sex is silly, because white men have been admitted to big 10 universities with lower grades than that.
And your wife's employer can't just randomly fire someone like that. If they did, they have grounds against them for two court cases instead of one. They must have provided some kind of reason for firing her.
And you needed to point out the fact you lived next door to a state sponsored "black" family? Are you saying there's no white people sitting at home all day leeching off the system that your neighbors are exploiting? The colour of their skin doesn't matter, what matters is that they're leeching off the system. It doesn't make their actions right, but the fact you need to point out the fact that they're black shows your inherent racism. And on a second note, you didn't receive the support they did because you're white, it's because you and your wife work. A working black family in your position would also not receive the social support. Race does not enter into it.
Is there high crime amongst black youths versus youths of other races? Yes. The statistics make that pretty clear. But again, you are trying to paint everyone with the same brush. There's also a lot of smart, ambitious and driven black teens. It's like saying everyone that lives in the south-east U.S. is a drunken nascar loving redneck.
Multiculturalism brainwashing? What are you? An advocate for the KKK? That sounds like something right out of the 1950's segregation movement.
Glenn Beck was a showman. Sometimes he raised valid points, sometimes he raised pure "conspiracy theory" type crap. But at the very least, he was entertaining and knew how to stir the pot.
And lastly, it's you that doesn't understand your own history. The U.S. legal system was based on British common law, so I'll grant you European values. However it was certainly not founded on Christian values, as many of your most influential founding fathers were not Christian. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, James Madison, Thomas Paine, Ethan Allen and (much evidence shows) George Washington were all Deists. America was founded on secular values, Check your own 1st Amendment.
And before you write me off as some wishy washy minority liberal, I'm a white male, and typically vote Conservative.

Everyone's a bigot when they support whites...you offend me. Stereotypes are made for a reason...self preservation and efficiency. Its how our brains work...by categorizing things that are alike.
And as for you completely denying that a company would fire somebody like that...she sued, was reimbursed and it was taken off her record with the company. It happens...and it happens because whites are afraid to stand up for themselves because they are hated on for being right..they thought she would take it and walk away.
I'm not denying "leaching" being a problem in certain white areas...but it is not as wide spread as it is with black. Get off your "paint everyone with one brush" talk...percentages are percentages...if i had said ALL and EVERYONE and ALWAYS i'd give you credit but i didnt.
We live in two different parts of the world and see different sides of things. I hate to break it to you but thats how it is here.

LAST Saturday, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott indicated at the federal Liberal Party council that he was embracing multiculturalism. Meanwhile, last week the Dutch government joined German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Nicolas Sarkozy in rejecting multiculturalism.
A new Integration, Bonding and Citizenship Bill introduced by the centre-right Dutch government declares The Netherlands "steps away from the model of a multicultural society".
The legislation halts special subsidies to ethnic groups and will allow for the revocation of visas for immigrants who refuse to learn Dutch. It even slashes welfare benefits for those whose "actual chances of obtaining employment [are] hindered by their behaviour or clothing".
