Scotland failed to make Canada take one in end of second end..
On Brewsters last rock where he had a chance to sit on top of Canada 's stone just outside of twelve foot, and he was heavy and missed opportunity to make Glenn take one perhaps, so it is a very strategic game of 'cat and mouse" between Scotland and Canada...

Thankyou for posting this info. I am at our cottage with no TSN and only dialup internet. So any info on this game is very much appreciated.

well the funniest line I heard Russ Howard say was when he commented on the ability for sweepers to have "selected hearing" probably on a sweeping error either by Scotland I think... ofcouse Vic Rauter tries to sound funny, but he ends up sounding like a 'dork" stick to doing M&M meat commercials Vic....

end of 4 ends, Scotland ties game with single...sounds this could be a squeaker of a game unless a big end is made first by either team.

Thanks so much. LOL at Vic. I do enjoy Linda's commentary- usually very factual- she sounds like she knows what she is talking about. Sure hope Team Canada can pull this one off.

Scotland steals one in fifth end, tough break for Glenn having the last stone advantage, a rub, a 'tick' and float or roll can change things fast...

The 5th end shot by Glen was a gamble that Wayne talked him into! The steal was not the result of a rub.

yep your right, if I implied other, it was only because I wanted to state either a rub, tick or roll away changes the end fast.. so sometimes interaction between skip and vice on calling shots can "back fire'

this game is painful. It's just a series of erros and whoever makes the least amount of errors in the end comes out with the point
the percentages are generous

Team Howard is often the most patient team. Glad to hear they scored big to take the lead. Now to defend...

Looks like SCO will guard stone on outside edge of 8foot (2 oclock) front house, leaving draw to 4 foot for Glenn's last.
Oops updated. SCO drew to lie 2, one on 4 foot. buried.
Glen's Draw overcurls. EE. Sco takes 1.

Nice draw by SCO. Buried outside edge of 8 foot. T line. 4foot is open.
Cda Heavey. Drew behind it. 2 rocks to come.
SCO places guard in 12 foot just off centre line. Glen has right side of 4 foot for draw.
Which he does. Win for Canada. Earned Bye to the Gold Medal final tomorrow. CU then.

Brewster needs to regroup and try "back door' to play Glenn again in final, should the curling God's be kind to him.

The irony being that Russ Howard was loud and verbose when following his rocks down the ice.
