Back from hiatus

Was taking a look at the registered teams for the tour this fall. Interesting to see a few familiar names that had hung up the brooms previously.

Cathy O is skipping a new team of youngsters.
Marie France-Larouche has revived her team (obviously seeing how poorly Quebec fairs at the Scotties without her).
Jenn Hanna is also back (although that has already been pointed out on here).

It'll be interesting to see how Hanna rebounds from her break. Lots of athletes never rebound from effectively being away for so long. Of course, she'll have to deal with Homan which is no easy task for anyone, even at the top of their game!

when you said larouche was back i thought you meant that she had her oiginal team back. either way im happy to see her back. larouche was always one of my favorite players to watch. i didnt think she'd retired anyway, i always thought she was just going on hiatus and intended on returning.

i will be curious to see how they fair

well on paper she's got a strong 3 in front of her. brenda nichols is a very good third and the 2 worked together well when they curled together in 2012 when they finished 4th.

lemay is a strong second and has curled with marie-france for a long time.

and julie rainville is a strong lead that curled with eve belisle a couple times.

so on paper its a good team and chemistry shouldnt be a problem.

Its gonna be a chore finding curlers equal or better than Wegel, Courtney and Art's daughter.

Agreed! Homan has a lot of unfinished business in the curling world.
