Weird sour grapes story quoting Gallant who felt slighted by the Korean Curling Association. "No Thank you". I suspect the Koreans would like to initiate a new coach for the next Olympics cycle, beginning in North Bay. I wonder if Gallant will be seen behind the bench of another team - the article said he has been in contact with other countries.

He has every right to be sour, Korea wasnt expected to be in the final, but Gallant got them there. A thank you is the very least he should expect.

You must have read a different article. No sour grapes, just stating they never said thank you. And it's not too much to expect to be asked to coach at the worlds just weeks after he helped get them a medal.

I predict no medal at worlds, won't make the playoffs.

Is it a cultural thing? Don’t expect a thank you for doing your job? Don Draper would tell you that’s what the money is for.

Sounds like a new Dan Rafael is in the works, kind of what he's doing after he led the Chinese to success in the 2007-2010 quadrennial.
