Observer, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying when you state the new no tick shot rule is "unfair to the team without the hammer".

Because that team has an opportunity in the last and extra end to place a guard on the center line which cannot be removed until the 6th rock is delivered, does this not give them an advantage and doesn't this in effect actually handicap the hammer team?

I would suspect that if the hammer team previously had an advantage of winning in the 70% - 75% range, that advantage will now be reduced while the non - hammer team will have a slightly better chance of winning.

When I log into CurlingZone I'm now receiving a "Not Secure" warning signal on both my Desktop and iPad.

Is anybody else experiencing this?

This is related to the site still being in http vs https.

It's something we're going to change over the summer, but all it means is that they information being sent is not encoded.

Nothing has changed on our end, it's just notifying you that CurlingZone is still using the old standard.
