It is worth noting that other sports also have residency requirements for national team representation, such as soccer and rugby, which require players to hold citizenship or meet eligibility criteria for their respective countries. In the end, the decision to maintain or change the residency requirements for the Brier and Scotties is up to Curling Canada, and would likely require significant consultation and discussion among the curling community. tunnel rush
