Ontario charges 10,95
R U kidding. Everyone else offers tv or streaming for free.
The competition is much better in most other provinces with only 2-3 teams here with a real chance of winning. What makes you think you can charge to watch when All the others offer it up no charge.
No charge for the ON Scotties streaming too.
Lucky if you get any to pay

Glen Howard is the A qualifier. Awesome! Not sure what seeing that is worth, but has to be cool for those watching.

I remember being shocked by this last year too. It's ridiculous, but I think it had something to do with the way OCA licensed it.

I agree, OCA selling its soul to make a few schekels. Look at the principals behind this ON streaming company- all the old boys club of Ontario curling,

I guess I'll watch the other provincial finals on Sportsnet and follow the Ontario Scores on CurlingZone. I pay enough for TV, no need to pay more to watch Glenn glide through to his 19th championship.

Is anyone else that paid for the streaming having problems getting the games on "full screen"?

This comes from Stephen Chenier, Executive Director of the OCA. " It is NOT CurlON who discontinued coverage it was SportsNet who terminated the contract. No other network was willing to pick up the coverage even though they charged CurlON in excess of $50,000 annually for the broadcasts.
We were left with no option but live streaming and can now bring to you 7 events of which only one costs in PPV. We are working to eliminate the PPV option but our costs over weigh the marketing at this point.
The broadcasters charge you and me sums of money each year to receive their transmissions but then charge the sport to broadcast the event. ".

Epping finally beats Howard! Hopefully he'll do ok at the Brier.

Epping will be out of his league at the Brier. Ontario will not be sending a team to the Worlds. Howard was our best bet.
