Who\What introduced you to Curling? My parents both curled recreationally. They used to bring me to the club with them and exposed me to the game. In the 5th grade we took a school trip to the club and I was hooked. I owe Mom & Dad for keeping me in the game - my second time out, after struggling, I went home crying and wanting to quit. They told me I made a commitment and had to stick with it. The next time out I stayed upright and fell in love with the game again. Haven't looked back since. Thanks Mom & Dad!
Do you have any pre-game superstitions or rituals? I don't like superstitions, but I do like a bit of routine.
Nothing major and nothing crazy - but the right amount of time to warm up and get all the gear ready.
